Everything You Want to Know

October 5, 2019

Race starts at City Park in Tipton, Iowa.  You can preregister until October 4, 2019 or we are accepting morning of registrations in paper on race day.  Registration will be held in the enclosed shelter at the top of the big hill.  There is plenty of parking both in the lower park by the football field and east of the aquatic center.  There will be water at the start, finish, and checkpoints.  We are setting up a bike wash at the finish line.  The Carpenters Local 1260 will be grilling in the afternoon and early evening.  BIG GROVE BREWERY has us covered for the after ride!  Flush toilets at the Start/Finish, porta potty at check point one, and pit potty at checkpoint 2.  There will be two official checkpoints with some nourishment, water, and drink mix. Check point one will be at the Cedar Bluff Access and checkpoint two is at Red Oak Park.   They are easy to find.

Prizes and door prizes at the finish. Check before you take off.

There is a "Bail Out" option.  If you signed up for the 105 and it is a little more than you can handle, you can complete the 64.  If you do this, you MUST check in at the finish line and list your bib number and name on the clipboard.  If you do not, you will be a DNF.

We will stay until all riders are in, so if you are a DNF, please check in at the finish line so we aren't sending a search party for you while you are home on the sofa drinking a beer.

We will be selling merchandise at the registration table.  You can also pre-order a ball cap on the registration website.

Check in with Bill on the course for entry into a drawing for a big prize.
